Motor back in my burb

Here are some shots of my engine compartment and motor .The first engine that came in my burb was a 80ish 350, lasted about a week before i noticed my rad was low alot due to blown head gasket.Got the heads checked and found out they were cracked. The tpi went in after that, me and the kids were having to much fun driving it that we did not get it painted until this winter. We still have a little to do but will have it on the road soon. This year at shows we can finally open the hood.I had to include a shot of my little helpers they did alot of prep work on the firewall(they are small and can fit in tight places) Hope you guys like the work we did.

Saw-wheet!

What color is that on the runners...looks like a clear black chrome or something...

Did you reprogram/rechip the TBI?

Re: Motor back in my burb

Hey Billla i thought you guys would dig those runners, i was going to polish them but they had a few dents in them and new ones were way to much $$$.So i whipped out my mini gun and made them look like carbon fiber, dark grey base then mask off with drywall tape dust them black and them some gold pearl a little trick i picked up painting jet ski's. I didn't chip it yet it runs great , i think being mass air flow you can get away with a few more mods.Hopefully this weekend we can crack it out on the street and get some smokey burnout pics for you guys.
