Little problem...
if anyone can help me gimme some ideas would be great. Recently when I am driving and I am coming to a red light or stop sign my truck will just shut off, almost like if I had just put the key back to the off postition. It will start back up with a little hesitation and then you can smell fuel. I think I need a new carburator anyone have any ideas, and if I do would it be reliable to have mine rebuilt or just get a new one. Thanks for the help. I have a 305 with no special and on or bold on's.

Re: Little problom...
Your idle is probably too low. Check the choke setting too.

Re: Little problom...
The screw should be spring loaded. In time the spring gets weak. Heating cooling and use. Once the spring is weak, the screw will walk out. The screw tip also wears down. Common problem but over looked really easy.
