"there is a will" but, is there a way

its been 5 ok longer years since the truck has been to this point to be put back together, is there a way to check the electrical connections because I have done changes from 5 years ago to today. and I would "well getting antsie" to see head lights working tail lights working electric fan working so on and so on. I have not bought a battery yet and I was wondering if these checks I want to see if like a battery charger could take place of a battery or is there something else?. is using a battery charger a bad thing or it just wont work.

please feed back so I can calm down

Hooking up the battery charger should do the job just fine. I personally would just borrow a battery out of one of your other trucks in your sig.

Battery charger works ok with one exception that I had. I did Putter's wiper delay and could not make it work right until I pm'ed him and he advised not to use charger on that switch. I pulled out a battery and it started working correctly.

It would need to be a high amp unit for some circuits. In other words a trickle charger probably will not power some of the stuff mentioned.
