Lug nuts for slots
I got a set of 16.5 aluminum slot wheels for my GMC and I need some lugnuts so I can put them on. What kind/type of lugnuts do I need? Thanks for the help guys/

The PO of one of my trucks just used acorn lugs --- i've been too busy with my job to even take them off to check stuff out in th 2 weeks i've had it though-- so i don't know anything else about it

You need a set of 24 & the studs are 7/16" the lug nuts for mags are commonly referred to as acorn nuts

A tire place can get them.I get them at Pep Boys.I don`t know if you have them in Maine.

Can you post a pic? different brands may vary. The acorn nut type will have a taper like a regular lug nut. The sleeve type has a larger hole with no taper and usually a machined spot for the flat washer.

These are the sleeve type that need washers. But they have alot of sleeved lug nuts available, and I need to get the right size shank. I mesured it and it came to 23/32"...so maybe its 3/4" and I just measured too close?

Does anyone have a part number for what lugnuts to use to put the slots on my 68 GMC 3/4ton 4x4? An exact, correct p/n would work really good.
