Any photos of 2" drop shackles 87 R10

Any photos of 2" drop shackles 87 R10 SWB? Looking at the stock shackle it looks as if I'm going to have to cut a section out of the bed support rail. Am I seeing this right.

I just pulled off the 3" drop spindles this weekend I left the 3" drop coils on combined it was just to much drop with 15" wheels trying to get around parking lots and getting into my development I was scraping and rubbing the fender wells. So I will be going with a 3" drop front "I wish they made a 1" drop spindle" and hoping for a 2" drop rear If I don't have to cut the rear frame rail. I already bought the Belltech 6" rear flip kit with c-notch and 4-6in drop shocks so I guess I'll be posting them on E-Bay soon as well as the 3" drop spindles that have been ground down already.

Any photos on the rear would be a great help as well as advice.

thanks

you will have to cut the support for the bed in order to use the drop shackles.

you have to cut the bed support wich is not to bad with the bed off. I just marked it off and used a sawsall for lack of anything better. took a while because thats some pretty thick metal but I made it. doesn't really affect the strength of the bed. good luck

I think the bed support has to be cut if you have the shorter 52 inch leafs but not with the longer 56 inch springs . Frank
