cruising east Texas - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I will be off work 05-24 through 06-02 which is the weekend before and the week following memorial day. I am playing around with an idea of a small road trip for at least two of those days. I figure I will start out towards Mabank and probably cut over through Grand Saline and on out toward the Omaha/Daingerfield area. Then maybe back through Terrell for the Tuesday night meet at East Texas Choppers. I plan on probably one night in a cheap hotel somewhere. Of course this all depends on what I run into along the way and which day I decide to leave. This will be a first for me and I must stay within about a 2 hour radius of Dallas in case something happens at home. Does anyone know of any functions along the way that might be worth stopping for? I have a couple of friends to stop at along the way but a small town car show or something would be cool. It will be just me and the 68.

Well I'm in Mineola & there are a few other guys around here, maybe we could get a hold of them & make a mini board meet
