Some stuff for sale - mostly commonly swapped stuff

OK everyone, I have a few things I am in the process of swapping out for sale. Undesirable is one way to put it, but another is cheap spare working parts!

For some reason I decided to swap transmissions, which may or may not have been a good idea. In the end I ended up with an EXCELLENT three speed and column shift levers just SITTING THERE while my NEW transmission sits in the truck and generally doesn't shift right and makes tons of noise, but that's neither here nor there, what needs to happen is that old GOOD transmission needs to disappear before I change my mind and put it back in. I'll even throw the bell in, even though I kind of want it. How does $50 sound?

For an obvious reason I took out the old bench seat. Let me be very clear, it's not like most seats where the vinyl is torn, or ripped, or flaking off, or dirty even... it's just not there. Not at all! I was driving around with the "Indian Blanket" style cover on foam for a long time because the PO thought, "hey, duct tape is like vinyl..." you get the idea. No more tape - I even vaccuumed it nicely and now it's time for a new style seat. $20 takes it.

Old gas tank - behind the seat style. The wife freaked out, and the new seat likely won't fit with the seat in there - and there certainly isn't any room for speakers. Now, being in the cab there is no rust at all. I think it worked great except the cap never seemed to seal right. I'll include all hard lines too. Just give me enough time to drain it and take it out of the truck. Call this one $25.

Drivers quality door handles. Nothing really interesting to write here. $10 takes them both and one window handle.

Seat belts - complete and blue. $15 takes them all.

I also have a few oscilloscopes if anyone wants. That's vaguely sorta, I think. They work too. $200 a piece. Yeah, I am serious. Weird, huh?

Nothing ships, I am in Greer, SC. Come and get it, or whatever. To keep it fair let's keep it out of the PM area.

Thanks guys.
-Brian

I would like to come and look at the seat and gas tank. I'm in Lyman, so just about anytime would be fine except for that old pesky job thing. Let me know.

OK, in reverse order:
Anytime early this week after around six would be fine LongHorn321. - PM me for address.
Longhorn man - I will have those pictures on this thread before the days end.

clean67, I will also do the same with the scopes.

All, I bought them from an auction at work. I thought seriously that I might use them, but it turns out toys that help me get to work are better than toys that I have no real reason to own.

Other than using them here in the lab where I work, the shop I used to work at had an o-scope for doing tune-ups.

LONG before on-board diagnostics.

Re: Some stuff for sale - mostly commonly swapped stuff

When Longhorn 321 was checking the tank and seat out yesterday he noted three things I should share:
Seat has good foam
Tank has been previously patched
Tank has vented filler tube

The tank, to the best of my knowledge, did not leak. It smelled until I shoved a "gasket" onto the filler cap, and then never smelled again. I drove it for about a year like that.

TTT plus I didn't get an E-mail about where to send the O-scope pics.

Someone take this stuff or it's going in the garbage.

Can you post some pics of the seat belts. I need the plastic for the retractors. Will you ship to Pittsburgh.

Thanks Nate

Re: Some stuff for sale - mostly commonly swapped stuff

I will ship wherever you want in the US.

There is another belt (obviously) that was not out of the truck at the time. I assure you the plastic and everything is the same as this one.

Re: Some stuff for sale - mostly commonly swapped stuff

I have a 67 6 cyl with a 3 spd nonsynchro first gear. It has the small side cover.

I have replaced it with a 3 spd synchro first gear. It has the big side cover. Actually it is a 3spd OD, but that does not matter for this.

My issue is, do you know if the shift linkage from the column to the shifter shaft link is the same?
The shifter shaft link is different, the nonsynchro has a much longer shaft than the synchro, so I now need the synchro's shift linkage.

I am looking for inlightenment.
Pictures are available if you need them.

Thanks,
Massingill

Gosh, I have no idea if they are the same or not. Mine is disassembled so pictures will only help if you want to measure and everything. Maybe someone on the board could help?
