UPS guy is like Santa. lol

check this stuff out.
engine parts:
comp cams thumpr cam kit
Edelbrock performer rpm airgap intake
Edelbrock performer 600cfm carb.
Edelbrock braided fuel line
Edelbrock single feed fuel line and filter
summit performance HEI distributor
GM engine dress up kit.

Got the cam, lifters, springs, timing gears and chain put in. timing cover and intake done. just got to finish up, hopefully running by the end of the weekend.






My order i got from Brothers:
front brake conversion with 2 1/4in drop spindles.
rear axle conversion to 5x5
5x5 drums
stainless steel/ chrome brake booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve
5 1/2in drop mono leafs
2in drop shackles.

Yeah, I'm about to have Christmas in April/May myself! I'm trying to help "stimulate the economy"! I'll post my goodies when they all get here.

BTW, I love that dress up kit... If my motor wasn't blue atm, I'd be all over those!

My brother has that black engine dress up stuff on his 65 pick up. He hasn't had any problems with leaking etc etc.

yea its goin together real good. lol the only reason santas so cool to me is bc i gave him so much money. i spent most of my wheel money on my engine. lol now good thing i get some free money from the gov.

I like everything but the carb. What cam did you get(part #)? My dad got one of the hyd. flat tappet Thumpr cams for the engine in his 56, but we won't be able to hear it run for a few more months.

k12-600-4 is the part number. hopefully i can hear mine tonight and break it in.

I too have the GM engine dress up kit, looks great and no leaks. I dont want to hijack your thread but I do have one question. The bracket with the timing marks, anyone know where to get one? Long story but I dont have one and would be nice to have.
