Driver Quality GREEN Steering Wheel

Not perfect, but better than some. May be a good candidate for a repair? It includes the horn button and the metal horn ring and screws.

$20 plus the ride, may have overpriced the first time......

Re: Driver Quality GREEN Steering Wheel

Thanks. It will be good if that wheel is worth something out there. It would be learning for me, because have scrapped some that looked somewhat better. Good luck.

VI. If you do not like the price of an item, look further. Comments on value, condition etc will not be tolerated.

It's under buyers code of conduct...Maybe you should check it out....

I agree 101%
Don't like the price, do not slam the seller and just move on.

Re: Driver Quality GREEN Steering Wheel

Hello Cyclone44 and others. Appreciating you efforts to keep the forum positive, I have read the rules and do my best. But, methinks you may have misinterpreted those comments. There was absolutely no slam intended - at all - just some surprise on my part and chagrin that I had tossed a couple of wheels that may have been worth something. If interested, please re-read my comments about "it would be good" and about "learning something" from the ad, and the "good luck"? Hey tcb-1, I still hope it sells for a good price.

Re: Driver Quality GREEN Steering Wheel

CCCC, No offense taken. I actually appreciate the comment because I was thinking all along that I was pricing it too high. I only wish I could have some of those steering wheels you threw away! I wish I could find a nicer green wheel, but I went with a Grant Nostalgia.

And again CCCC, no offense taken. I try to be a bit more laid back now!

Thumbs up Re: Driver Quality GREEN Steering Wheel

i understand what CCCC was saying, back when i was parting 67-72s constantly (over 200 of them at last count) we threw any and all sheetmetal that was not 100% perfect in the scrap pile. i never gave any thought to the poor guys/gals in the rustbelt areas that would have loved to get a door with a small rust bubble or a cab that might need a rocker or cab corner replaced. i junked trucks that i really kick my a$$ over now that i've seen what some people are restoring. live and learn i guess.

Re: Driver Quality GREEN Steering Wheel

Jerry,
My brother bigdon-70blazer and I was talking about that today. He goes to a salvage yard that is starting to scrap everything. That includes everything from '90 and down. Someday, and I think it will be soon, we will see the end of nice original sheetmetal/parts because they are all being scrapped. Depressing....

Kind of hard when you can get several hundred dollars a ton out of a rust bucket. But the nice rigs are going in the tank as well.
