Maggie Valley
For those of you who did not attend "YOU MISSED OUT! on a great time. The weather was a bit iffy but the trucks and BB members were awesome. There were an even 50 at Dinner (FAT BUDDIES B-B-Q) last night. At least 13 BB member trucks in the show and a few more that were not ready but got driven there. There were probably 50-70 members around the show at some point in the weekend.Parking lots mods and repairs were performed,B-B-Q was scarfed, trucks were talked, driven, polished, and admired.CGITC again did a cookout for their members and tons of pics were taken.Hopefully some of them will be downloaded and posted soon.Hope more make it next year.We really need to outnumber the SSR freaks.
BTW Member Tim Christians son Jordan debuted his truck at the show and all I can say is you have to see it.It is an awesome build.

Re: Maggie Valley
You guys seem to have all the good stuff back there. My wife is from Pennsylvania; maybe when we retire we'll move back there, and I can go to that stuff. Of course, by that time, gas'll be 50 bucks a gallon!!

Re: Maggie Valley
Too bad I didn't get to stay longer. The wife and kids were getting pretty cranky with the cool temps and rain Sat afternoon. I had too much going on to make it back on Sunday.

Man, where is the Luv (Or where was I when this happened)
(I had 2 racks of ribs, a 1/2 chicken, 2 orders of fries, 3 pieces of TX toast, & drank sweet tea from a pitcher using a straw ) I had a blast at the show, and after FB's had ice cream later on

Re: Maggie Valley
Hey Guys ,
I am glad that all of you came to Maggie this year. I am sorry that I didn't get to socialize as much as I had intended. I had a couple of workers that couldn't make it, and that left me doing several more tasks, that I had intended for them to do. I enjoyed the show and I sure hope all of you did. We are always looking for new things to do each year, so if any of you have suggestions, let us know. It's only 360 days until the 19th Annual All Chevy/GMC Truck Nationals Thanks again to all of you who attended and support the show. Jeff |
