easy one...trans pan bolt torque?
Question: Can anyone tell me what torque to use when tightening down my transmission pan? Just replaced the gasket.
Thanks, skydiver |

Re: easy one...trans pan bolt torque?
Just tighten in a star pattern (well, not exactly, obviously- corner to corner, moving around). Take it down to zero, without any extra umph. I have always tightened mine without a torque wrench and never had a leak.

i use a 1/4 inch set, with the nutdriver, and don't use your whole fist on the handle, just snug it and a little bit more.
