Finally got it back on the road!

After weeks of modifying the zbar to fit around my headers I finally have it all sorted out! After cutting and welding and grinding and relocating the prongs on the zbar, I put a stock on on and it fit. There is still some tweaking to be done but all I really had to do was shorten the rod from the clutch pedal to the bar, and shorten the rod from the bar to the clutch. The pedal feel is very soft still and I want to tweak it back to feeling firm like it was, but I'm not exactly sure how to do this. Trial and error has been the method thus far, so I guess I'll continue until it doesn't work. By the way I have foot long flanges off the collectors and cherry bombs followed up by some turndowns so it sounds nice like a 283 should!

Re: Finally got it back on the road!

What kind of headers are you running? Im trying to get some exhaust done up on the cheap and have some purple hornies laying around. The only problem is,my headers sweep down slightly and puts the end of the glasspack about 3 inches off the ground.Stock ride height too.My exhaust guy said it might be a few weeks out but I need this done by yesterday.Road trip next week and open headers are definitely not an option lol
