Re: Billit Dash--Polish Out?
Yes they will, BUT you will be best to do it with wet and dry sand paper first and then poish it with a power polishing wheel on a hand grinder or a buffer on a stand.
Take a 400 to 600 grit wet and dry sand paper and use WD-40 as a wetting agent. Start to remove the scratches with the corse paper. Then step up to a 1500 grit paper using the wd-40 all the time. Finish with a 2500 grit paper. Then start the final buffing and polish with the different grades of material and buffing wheels. It will surprise you that it is easier than you think. |

Yes they will, but it wil take some time. Use 800 grit wet or dry wet sanding to get the scratches smooth using a stiff sponge to avoid finger grooves. Progress all the way through 2000 grit (wet sanding ) and then polish it with mothers or a comparable metal polish and a microfiber cloth.

Re: Billit Dash--Polish Out?
I think your right. I got this as in a box of mics. parts, kinda a grab bag of small parts, so I just want to clean it up, although I do have a stock dash with Dolphin gauges and going to use it instead of this billit grill. This one has the smaller gauges at a angle, most I've seen are across the bottom.
