Oklahoma event - Hogs & Hot Rods

There are a few members that are over in the midwest, has anyone heard of the "Hogs & Hot Rods" event in Collinsville, OK? It's a little bitty town but they have a huge showing, see more HERE

Just curious to see who might go or is going from the board, so we can arrange a little board get together.

I will most likely be there. Not sure if my truck will be ready by then, but I can always bring my other driver.
That's quite a trek 4 u, isn't it?

Re: Oklahoma event - Hogs & Hot Rods

Oh yeah it is......a loooong trek. We are out there twice a year, we will be living there within the next two years, right there in Collinsville.

My wife promised her niece that I would shoot her senior photos, this promise took place last year when we were there, my great wife told me 2 months ago....lol!

I am still debating if Iam going to tote my '67 back there, with fuel prices it may be cheaper to fly.

It looks like a good time, there are quite a few different magazines that show up there and put the coverage in their mags.

Re: Oklahoma event - Hogs & Hot Rods

sounds kind of cool, but Tulsa (owasso area) is a long haul from OKC at 3.59 a gallon in a vintage guzzler. (more like 2.5 hours realistically, and about 140 miles)

be a cool deal for Tulsa area cruisers though

It is in the Owasso area, 30 miles North of Tulsa. The gas prices are a good point...unfortunatly, lol!!

I'd love to be there. If a few board members are going I'll cruise the hour and a half up there.

Re: Oklahoma event - Hogs & Hot Rods

Im only an hour and a half from there, Id go but its the same day as my family reunion. I'd have to ride my motorcycle though, a 454 plus $3.52 a gallon gas equals no road trips for me lol. Over in that area is one of my favorite places to ride, theres some nice backroads to get lost on, especially this time of year.

Re: Oklahoma event - Hogs & Hot Rods

I will not get to attend. I just moved from the Owasso/Tulsa area. The Collinsville Hogs and Hot Rods is a great event. I went to several in the past and enjoyed every one I attended. Greybeards is usually the "place" to be for good music and cold beer durring the show.
