Mid-90 frame swap for 63

I just purchased a 63 and have debating how to have the most cost effective build possible. My friend has a 90's reg cab truck and I can have everything I want for free. Free is the music to my ears. My thought is to strip it completely down and cut along the firewall and the floorboards and then cut the 63 cab to match. Has any one done this with a fullsize truck, I have seen one on the site done with a s-10. What are your thoughts. I know there would be a lot of cutting of the frame for wheel centering and shortening. My truck is a short step.
