New tailgate
A repro, but its pretty decent. Trying to start the final body work on this thing so I can get it in some paint. It will be Mariner blue a Dupont color. I had some pics of the paint I'll try to find them and post some. Later!!

Re: New tailgate
Dude very nice lookin gate. Ive always wondered how a repro would fit. I take it the body work to it is minimal?

Re: New tailgate
Yeah there is not much left. The bed sides are kinda wavy, trying to figure out how to fix that! A few spots on cab and hood that needs some attention and thats about it.

Re: New tailgate
Nice gate....I have been thinking about changing out the panels on my truck.
I didn't realize at first , but my truck is a big a$$ bondo machine !!! The previous owner (old fart) and his brother (older-fart) farted around with this truck and caked on the bondo. Looks ok in black primer.....but it could lose some weight !!! Anyway, your truck is look'n sweet !!!

Re: New tailgate
Thanks John! Don't feel bad about the bondo, my bed has a good bit in it. Its not a ton but more than I wanted. To bad they don't make repro bed sides yet, I might would go that route. Depending on price of course!! Iv'e been looking for a better bed but they are always so far away. I guess I'll just keep what I have, It's definitly a driver not a show truck. Thanks for the comments guys!!
