Anyone know if a 3/4 ton rear end will fit in a 1/2 of the same genereation? I have a 1993 z71 off road excab 4x4.

My understanding is that the 14 bolt semi floating 6 lug from the light duty 3/4 ton is a drop in.

thanks sting ray!! know if any 88-98 light duty 3/4 ton will drop in or only specific years?
