Re: Need sound deading material help.

I ordered 90 sqft of second skin damplifier. Works great but I need just a little more. I would say you need at least 120+ sqft to do everything with one layer.

What brand are you going with?

Wanna watch this and find out how you like it.

Keep us posted on the install and your overall satisfaction after the test drive.

That's the spray on stuff, right?

I was leaning that way.

How'd you like the install? Make a big difference?

Re: Need sound deading material help.

That stuff works great but your car will smell like a fresh asphalt road. The smell might go away but it my area it gets really hot and it will reactivate the smell. But, your in Oregon so it might not be so bad.

We used a prdouct called Cool Car Ceramic. I havnt started the Jimmy up yet so I dont know how well it works, however we have it on good authority from proffesional hotrod builders that this is good stuff. It is a spray on by the way. You might wish to check it out.
