Question Brake Pedal Switch,what Is It?????????

Whats The Deal With The Second Brake Pedal Switch With The Vacuum Line Going To It? Is It The Cruise Nock Off Switch?my 85 Truck Just Has The Vac Line,but My 88 Blazer Parts Doner Has The Vac Line And Two Electrical Plugs To It???????can't Seem To Find Any Info On This Switch!!!!!!! Thanks

That's exactly what it is. The older models had a secondary vacuum switch mounted above the dual connector brake switch.

THANKS!!!!!!!So,if I am not going to use the cruise I can eliminate it or doe's it have to work in conjunction with the brake switch?Thanks

You can use it without the vacuum connection or just put one on that is a brake switch alone. The vacuum part is a vacuum breaker to get rid of the "seal-in circuit" when you have your cruise engaged. That way when you hit the brakes the cruise shuts down.
