Warning about Westin grillguards and Autoanything

Hi boys ! I bought a Westin one piece grillguard nr:40-0085 black powdercote paint to my truck from a company in the south of the US,and they bought it from Autoanything. The freighttime to Sweden was about 8 weeks and when I should mount the grillguard on the car it was impossible because it was very bent and did NOT fit the car at all.

The grillguard was bought from Autoanything and because the long time of freight neither Westin or Autoanything will pay back my money or replace me
with a new grillguard. And here i,m sitting with a defect product. It is not my fault that I got a defect product !!!

I think this are a very bad attitude from these companies and they don,t
giva a d???mn about their customers or their reputation.Look for yourself on the pictures,it is the tubing around the left headlight who is very bend and causes the problems, the grillguard hits the fenders of the car.The grillguard is placed on a totaly flat surface on the pictures.

So any tip what to do ??

sorry to hear about your luck. What if you try to bend it to match your truck contour and repowdercoat it?

Is it just for looks? Maybe a shipping container got set on it or something major, but if it bends really easily, it doesn't seem like it would be much protection. Way to hang in there and wait for 8 weeks, man that would be a dissapointment.

Re: Warning about Westin grillguards and Autoanything

Was the box damaged, and do you still have it?
If it is damaged, then the shipper has responsibility, and you should file a claim with them. If not, Westin site says that grille guard has a 5 year warranty, only catch there is you have to return it to the oroginal place of purchase.
I agree you should be getting better customer service from both companies.
Let us hnow what happens

Just how long would it take 'you' to ship anything to SWEDEN?

Be sure to factor in time for customs.

Re: Warning about Westin grillguards and Autoanything

Hi,the new grillguard I got was loaded in the container may 21 and I picked it up here in Sweden july 7.We mounted the guard on the car immediate and this guard fit the car perfect.Really like the design of the guard.

But when we order smaller parts who goes by airfreight it usually takes
1-2 weeks to get it here.
