Blazer window frame question. Nuts broken.

One of the nuts broke off of the inside of my window frame where the door rubber screws down (top). This is the part right above the vent window. how can I fix this with out cutting into my window frame to weld on another nut? I was thinking about use some of those clips with nuts on them, but I'm not sure where to find them. This is a pic of something similar to what I'm trying to find.

Re: Blazer window frame question. Nuts broken.

those are fender clips you have in the pic. they are available in most help sections. It has been several years but someone put up a link for nut inserts. I saved the link but it no longer works, Hopefully someone else will know

How do you get it to stay in the hole without falling down into the window frame?

Sorta like that but there is a tool that squishes it out on the sheet metal

Thats cool. I've never seen those before. They remind me of screw you put in your sheet rock. I fixed the problem. I found some clips at Kragen.
