Local Festival/Show in McAlester, OK - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Well, decided to get up and swing the old 69 by the Italian Festival show in McAlester. For some gay reason, they didn't award classes (which I would have won because there were only two of us). My uncle won best in show though, with his 69 Nova 6.0.

My truck

This truck was built by a local body shop, Buck Wilson's

A FSC from 40s,50s,60s

Yeah, thats my uncles car. He built that thing in a year and a half. It's ridiculous. It's got a 2003 6.0 w/ z06 cam and heads. 4L80e, 3:73 Detroit Locker. It's so nice.

Was that show at a state park? My wife and I almost went to a show over there several years ago at a state park that I can't remember the name of.

I think my grandpa used to play bluegrass music over there also?

You're thinking of Robber's Cave. That's about 45 minutes from where this little show was. That thing is HUGE. It's in September.
