Re: custom parts

I've done a ton of fabrication on my truck. The most visible would be the speakers in the cab corners.

Re: custom parts

I think you would have alot of interest on the board! My neighbor made me an aluminum bowtie with a mirrored stainless front for my carpeted bedliner that I hope to install soon He recently informed me that his boss cut off all side work by employees

Re: custom parts

If you make it, they will buy it. For a reasonable price, of course. I make a number of things and sell stuff at least weekly. My stuff is usually the result of what I made for myself, and others are interested in having something the same, or similar.

If you make quality parts at a reasonable price with good instructions, you will sell a bunch to this board. There are many pieces guys look for constantly and if you make any interior pieces in Billet, i'd be all over that (headlight, washer knob, cigarette lighter knob, etc)

Re: custom parts

I would like to see a surround made in polished aluminum/chrome for the rear taillights. Similar to what musclerod does, but using the stock lenses and mounting holes. A lot of people do away with the trim on the tailgate and the factory piece looks like it's missing something without those pieces.
Also, they are supposedly coming out with a trim that goes around the deluxe marker lights like the yellow one posted above (with the custom emblem below it) But they have no word on time frame yet and i'm ready to buy right now. Picture is below. Also, when it comes to the gauge bezels, different people are looking for different numbers/configurations on the gauges. I assume once you have the outer shape, if you offered the ability to move those gauge holes around, you'd have a bunch interested. I would be interested in a trim piece that fills in around the radio when you install an aftermarket radio. If you look, there is a gap that you can see the stock radio knob holes behind the aftermarket stereo.

Re: custom parts

VA72C10 Do you have a pic of the radio? My truck doesn't have deluxe marker lights so I would need a sample.I have tail lights to get started on trim for stockers. I will see what I can do about getting some things going and get setup as a vendor. As Soon As I Can

I just finished modeling a radio plate that covers those holes when you install an aftermarket radio. The outer edge looks just like the factory gauge bezel so it will go perfectly with the stock interior as well as any aftermarket billet bezel. I applied for a patent on it to keep people from copying it. I sent out the file for some quotes and I am sending one to Mekdad as well. I already PM'd him on it. I will post a picture tonight...
