Laser and WaterJet cutting
if anyone is interested in either one of these let me know. i am the cad operater and engineer at my work and program these machines.
i can cut parts, or brakets for you if you would be interested in anything. just need a scaled drawing emailed to me or send in the mail and i can draw it up and cut it. if you are not supplying materials i can, but will have to charge you for it. i don't make a buck off of this. my boss allows me to farm out work when we are slow. i am not a business. just wanting to help out fellow fabricaters and anyone doing there own work.

Re: Laser and WaterJet cutting
Very generous offer. I'll keep it in mind. I have some ideas for my interior. Do you have pricing on the raw materials if i purchase from you? Is it a sf cost or figured per piece? Thanks.

Re: Laser and WaterJet cutting
the cost of material will be figured in to the part if i have to provide materials.
moderators: i am not trying to sell anything. i am just trying to provide a service to fellow truck builders who might possible not be able to get something they want to engineer on there own. i have added a couple of 4bar mounts and his logo that i have done for a local racecar builder. thanks

Re: Laser and WaterJet cutting
I'm still looking (sadly, not very hard) for someone to make me a dash bezel. Oh... and low67gmc needs to get off his lazy ass and finish doing the CAD work on it.
If anyone does such things, I'm looking to make an aluminum bezel like the stock 3-hole unit (for use with stock idiot gauges) without the mounting holes, headlight, choke, etc.). I can provide more details via PM... this is just a quick description.

Wow my wife was just there today if I would have known I would have sent her there with some stuff. She goes once a month for buisness meetings.

Re: Laser and WaterJet cutting
Good luck GRIMSS... that will be a lot of welding, but will be worth it in the end.
Nice work terrellautosports!

Profit or not this is still a "Vendor" situation. You are taking away from those vendors that could provide this service and it is not fair to those who do pay the vendor fees to be able to advertise here. You may have to work some profit into your service to cover that cost, but that is the way it has to be. PM Josh or Liz, they can set you up for this. |

Re: Laser and WaterJet cutting
Longhair is correct. But due to the nature of this offer being a free service, and we don't really have a vendor offering any such services at this time it isn't a conflict of interest. However, if it is ever for profit it is a violation of the board rules/policies. I'll let it go without a vendor subscription or anything like that for now as a benefit to the members of the forum.
Josh
