Looks good. Its a memory tach right? At least it looks like one. I would mount it on the wheel because it will look kind of ricerish if you mount it on the dash. I have mine screwed into the side of the dash next to the temp. controls, but that was stupid of me I wouldnt recommend doing that.

NO, I Hate them mounted to the column, there was one there when I bought it and ripped it off immediately, then I got to fill in the hole in the dash..grrrrr.

It will more than likely be in the upper left corner of my windshield...and before you say that its out of sight, I am 6'3" lol
But it may end up in the lower left corner....thought also about having a custom Pillar mount made by my buddy that did my stereo install. That is What I really want

Upper left corner would be a good spot. I should have thought about putting mine there but mine is just some cheap little $40 O'Reillys Tach. I'm also around 6'3" and that would be a good spot just a quick glance and you could see it. I would put a little angle to it to ensure that you always have good visability.

you will like having a tach. I don't see how I ever did without one.

Looks good.

Dave is that the Summit Brand tach with the little condoms that go over the light?

I need a new tach, I don't like having a 5" tach anymore. Although I can see it really good, it just doesn't fit anymore, too ricey, I don't like starting rice trends.

Well dang, if Dave is Zaino'ing everyone's rides, maybe I'll just make a trip to OK.

Nice tach Dave. Did you have it shipped? Or were you able to pick it up from them? Just wondering how much shipping generally is. I've been looking at some here and they're nothing fancy like that but are only about $10 less. I'd rather spend a little more and get something that looks better and is better quality.

I have a Sun in my truck....I mounted it in the hated position of on the column....had to be mounted very close to the steering wheel, but I like it there....it's the mini tach. My motor is completely stock (74 350 4-bolt block 4-bbl) so it'll do fine for now.

Be sure to post pics of where you mount that one so I can get a good idea about how to do it when I get a better one after the engine mods (new heads, headers, manifold and carb...later next year of course!)

But is it as accurate as an AutoMeter?

Looks like it will match your truck pretty well.

Post picture when your done.

The main reason I hate that is well I just dont like the location, but when your tall, its just not a great view...and the steering wheel hides it.
