Flip Kit ???

I want to use a flip kit on my 1969 GMC C25 to drop the rear. It has leaf springs but I need to know what else to purchase. Currently I just bought the DJM Universal Axle locaters but what else do I need I just have the axle locaters. Can someone give me a list of what it is exactly that I need to complete the flip kit.

Re: Flip Kit ???

Flip kits for our trucks can be kind of confusing sometimes. I did a lot of research and ended up buying THIS. Don't worry, thats not the actual picture of it. It had everything I needed, and it was real straight forward to install. I'm not for sure how much it lowered it, I didn't measure, but I also pulled a couple of leaves out, too. Here's some pic's of the kit:

Some say you don't need a C-notch, but believe me, you do. Also, if you order from Stylintrucks, at checkout, in the code box, type in SHIPME, and shipping is free. Hope this helps.

Re: Flip Kit ???

So All I need is the "U Bolts" and "U Bolt plates" along with the C-notch cuz I already have the axle locaters.

Re: Flip Kit ???

I did a flip kit on my 74 & re-used the OE u-bolts. I would think you could re-use your OE bolts as well.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
