center carier bearing

Hay has any body had problems with the carier bearing.
I chainged mine one year ago and it faild. Is there a better pruduct out there.
I could not find a better one so I went with same style bearing.
Hear are some pic's.

I wonder if you can eliminate it totally and use a newer drive shaft? I have been thinking about this for awhile now.

I was told that putting a single shaft on a long bead will not work.

Check your trans and motor mounts, If they are bad, they will take the carrier with them

Its was a thought. All the 73 to 87 1/2 tons use a single drive shaft. My 87 lwb 1 shaft.

also, maybe a good Idea to have the drive shaft balanced.
