WIW? Looking at a new project
I found a '63 c30 today with a inline6 and 4speed. Steel flat and has very little rust. Will need the front rear fender patch panel on both sides and some new weather stripping. _It has all the dash parts and is a standard 127" wheel base. The guy is asking $1500 for it. I thought that was a pretty good deal since the steel flat would probably cost $1000 alone. What do you guys think. I know!!! Pictures would be nice but I had no camera with me. The doors, rockers, hood, cab corners are all solid. The rear of the fenders have rusted away and let the fenders pop out. That's all I could find wrong other than it has been sitting about a year. Probably going to go back and get it started and see how the brakes are. The current owner used it to haul steel for his business until last year sometime.
Any input would be great. Bryan |
