Talking A pretty original 67 short fleet at a car show (PICS)

was down in tenn. sat and looked up an old street and there was an all original 67 custom 10 short fleet , look's to be original paint except for the white top and it had the chrome hubcap's chrome bumper's and grille trim and all the side trim , deluxe horn button , pretty cool looking truck so I thought I'd take some pic's and after I did we were walking away when a little old man walked (CRAWLED) out of a nearby building , he was about 3 feet tall and 125 year's old (KIDDING IF ANYONE"s GRANPA OR SOMETHING) but anyway I just knew he was gonna get in that truck and leave ,,,,,,,,,,,
AND HE DID ,,,,,,,,I just bet he bought it new ,,,,,,,,anyway I thought it was cool so here is some pic's ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

That's funny, not to mention it looks like he parked the wrong way on a one way street.

You still see lots of those "grandpa specials" down here in the South. It's pretty common to see trucks like that driven by the original owners. Judging by the club on the steering wheel, I'll bet you couldn't buy the dust off of it. The old guy probably gets pestered to death to sell the thing.

The wrong way parking is classic! That's just old folks driving for ya. God definitely watches out for them!

Nice and intact.I hope it stays that way being parked around town, not only against traffic but in a travel lane. Please tell me that was a lot.So many of these trucks were the last trucks for original owners.

Great looking original truck. They are pretty rare around here.

I have only seen one. An old guy that lives in a town south of here has a 69 GMC short bed stepside. It looks like it is stock except it now has a new paint job, but looks like the original color.

I have to defend him on the being parked in a one way street the wrong way , he is BUT the street was blocked off for the car show and just above where he was parked it was blocked with a portable hot dog stand , so he wanted to get in one of the buildings where the street was blocked off ,
no problem there , now if he parked there on a weekday during busy hour's he would get run over !!
the truck has a little rust but not to bad I did not look underneath it but I bet it ain't to bad ,

Same with my grandpa, if his truck hadn't been burned in his shop fire, it would still be driven into town several times a week

Thanks for grabbing those pics, I love trucks like that. It's nice to know they're still out there and we have not chopped them all up yet.

On that note, I can't believe nobody has chopped it yet.

Lowered, 20 inch wheels, changed the color......
