Re: wtb interior parts
Hey Bob I have quick question for ya....
On the passenger side kickpanel...Im assuming you have taken them off before since they are painted.... My question is, what type of seal is between the kick panel and the cab ? On my truck it was some foam like weather stripping.... Im wondering if this is suppose to be rubber since Im getting a water leak in that area. I was going to order the "air vent seal" from LMC and see if does the trick

Re: wtb interior parts
Bob, have you considered this route? Mine used to be factory blue in my 87 when I swapped in an 80 interior, the 80 green ones didnt fit. I picked this stuff up at Rural King, and it stays on really good. I'd recommend it if you can't find the grey ones you need. It's almost 5 O'clock, gotta be somewhere

Re: wtb interior parts
Do you have intermitant wipers in your 82? I've got both the switch and the module for it as well.

Re: wtb interior parts
I hate to open up an old thread but I have been trying to figure out what to do with my kick panels for the longest time and thought that yall would know!
I don't have pictures but I have a 71 GMC Stepside with was factory AC (not working) and the kick panel vents are completely open. There is not a panel to close it nor do I see holes as to where something was removed. So in the past winters I have had to stuff them with foam to keep from freezing to death!! My brother used to have a 72 Cheyenne Super that had the vents and levers that you pulled to open/close them. What would I need to fix this? More foam? What are those in BabyJays post? Thanks Jonathan |
