? about a F*rd seat

I ran across a great deal on a split bench (w/console built in) out of a 97/98 Ford truck. I am about 800 miles away from my truck right now so I can't go out and look at it to "eyeball" the situation. What I really need to know is does anyone have this type seat in their truck and how does it fit? Will I lose much legroom? I am 6'10" and can't afford to give up much in that department. Any help/info would be greatly appreciated.
