Opinions of aftermarket sheetmetal?
Well, I'm having a hard time finding old GM fenders and a hood in good condition for my 67 so now I'm leaning towards aftermarket sheetmetal. I'd like to hear some opinions of the aftermarket sheetmetal, specifically hoods and fenders. Any major fitment issues? How straight are they? Worth the money or should I keep looking and holding out for GM parts?

Re: Opinions of aftermarket sheetmetal?
Goodmark is the only one I've dealt with that had a consistently solid product. Not 100% perfect, but excellent overall quality for Chevy trucks and cars. I know the 67-72 stuff is top notch, as is the 73-87.

Re: Opinions of aftermarket sheetmetal?
I installed an all aftermarket front end on a 67. New hood, fenders, core support. The only orig. thing was the grill. The hood did not have the same curve as the fenders. Had to hammer them down for them to match up. Also the hood was longer than the fenders. I could not get the front edge of the hood to line up with the fenders. As for the grill, the curves did not line up with the fenders also. Had to hammer them.. Alot of body work made it look good in the end. Do nor=t expect them aftermarket parts to fit the first time.
