who makes a good torque converter?
so i have killed my th400 within 400 miles and also my TCI converter is killed!!!.... doesnt stall anywhere near where it did when new or rated at. I was wondering who you guys use for converters or who you recomend!! the trans is going back to the trans shop since it never held 2nd real hard since new and its already killed with 400 miles on it, sounds like a super charger!
my set-up is a 650hp big block 244 @ .050 with 3.73's and a 28.5slick.... im looking for a 3500 stall and a converter that can handle my abuse... witch is non-stop abuse!! let me know what you guys think and who you recommend thanks

Re: who makes a good torque converter?
I have had good luck with Fuddle. I think they use Nelso on someone like that for cores and change some things. I have had a 3,200 that was right on the money and my 4,400 that is in it now flashes to 4,900 but IMO it works great.

Precision Industries "Vigilante" converters are excellent quality as well.
