leaky window
I have had new window and seal put in my 72 and it leaks. I have had it resealed twice and they just took it out completely resealed everything done everything they can and for some reason I am still getting water in my truck.
Anybody have any suggestions on where this water may be coming from and how I can fix it? |

Re: leaky window
Are you sure it's the window and not plugged cowl drains or the windshield wiper motor seal?

Re: leaky window
The water is just sitting in the bottom corner of the window seal dripping onto the floor through a little hole in the dash

Re: leaky window
sounds like the seam where the "A" pillar meats the center section of the windshield fram is leaking to me. It is allowing water to get under the gasket. WES

Re: leaky window
I had the same problem, only it was leaking on the [U]window[U] side of the gasket rather than the frame side of the gasket. I just put a very thin bead of clear silicone where the window meets the gasket.

Re: leaky window
the glass place has put silicone around the outside of the window already and it is still leaking.
What do you mean by the A pillar? |
