Rear slider removal
I found a truck in a local yard with a factory slider. What is the easiest way to remove it? Is it as easy as cutting the gasket and poping it out? Anybody with any tips or tricks?

Start at one of the upper corners and work it out a little at a time. Again, take your time and be patient, use as much soapy water as you can and you'll have it out unscathed. Good Luck. Eric |

Re: Rear slider removal
I cut mine out with a utility knife. Mine wasn't a slider, but I figure the rubber would be the same. It was easy as can be since I didn't want to keep the rubber.

Re: Rear slider removal
or you can buy them for $30 at a pick-n-pull.
DO NOT use dish soap. it makes it more difficult. use the slimey hand cleaner like gojo. trust me, I learned the hard way. |

the owner said he crushed the truck the day before I got there.
Would like to know where I could buy a new one and what do they cost? Jason |
