Yeah i agree, but about that ford sitting next to it... It can go to %#$% in a bush for all i care. Did I ever tell you about my greatgrandfather?
Ok my great granpa was an inventor by the name of paul pavel pal. He immigrated from hungary and made many inventions for cars. First and probably one ne of the most widely used, he invented the leaf spring suspension system. He also invented the mechanism that makes intermittent windshield wipers intermittent. i'm not sure the specifics of everything but i know we have the patents in this house in our safe. The only hitch was that this guy was poor. he knew his ideas were worth money so he went to ford with them. Ford knew they'd win any lawsuit with the poor guy so they just kind of took it. he couldn't afford a lawyer so he had to pick up and move on. thcould have been fair about it maybe i wouldn't us my hate for ford. if they have to pick potatoes to buy my CHEVY. but i guess work will teach me many a lesson and make me appreciate it more. anyway i don't know how i got onto this topic. later

There are a bunch more pics of 67-68's...all in that same yard, found the site on the net. Here's the yard info:
Old Car City USA is located about 50 miles north of Atlanta and about 70 miles south of Chattanooga. From Atlanta, take 75 north exit 296 make a right going towards white. Its about 3 miles at the intersection of Cass-White road and Hwy 411. Call Old Car City USA (770) 382-6141 first and ask for Dean Lewis. Sounds like I'm gonna have to take a road trip when I get to Tampa. TJ

First glance the thought may be sad, but after examining the situation I think its great. They are not crushing the trucks and selling it as scrap metal instead they are sitting there waiting for someone to come along and buy them and give them new life, or buy parts off them to enable someone to bring there truck new life. I think we all need a place within 4-5 miles of us with such a set-up.
