Grillz

Will a stock grill out of 1973 bolt up in a 1974 chevy? It has a old style tube grill in it? are the brackets the same or what?

Yes

For Chevy:

73 and 74 are the same depth and will interchange.

75-80 are shallower and use different brackets, but can also be used provided you get the correct brackets.

For GMC:

I believe 73-76 is the deep grill like the 73-74 Chevy grill. I'm not 100% on this but I think it's right.

77-80 is the shallow grill like the 75-80 Chevy grill.

Re: Grillz

I just won a 73-74 NOS off of ebay. I ended up giving 83.00 for it. The hail storm got my other NOS one about a month ago. I gave 45.00 for it. Keep and eye out on ebay, they come up pretty often.

Re: Grillz

I'm sure some of the board vendors can help you with that. Local boneyards are really not to good for things like that. 35 yr old plastic parts don't usually age well.

Please don't turn this into a "Want To Buy"......
