what are these pieces in the cab.
tried search, but Cab and spring doesn't narrow it down enough.
inside the cab, passenger side, behind the door frame, is a large spring looking thing. a large coil attached behind the latch area, with a small straight section, to a smaller coil. passenger side floor behind seat rail, a spring with a ring attached at the end. spring is attached to the cab floor.

Re: what are these pieces in the cab.
Not trying to hijack your thread, but I found my jack/handle bolted to the left front inner fender. It looked factory to me, but I also have the spring/latch deal in the cab (68 C-10) that 72-c20 is asking about. Any idea which is correct?

Re: what are these pieces in the cab.
awesome. thanks. Mine will just be a storage area, as a stock jack won't do me much good. Need to mount in a hi-lift somewhere.... or stow under the seat....

Re: what are these pieces in the cab.
A hilift jack stores very nicely under the seat. I think mine is a 48". Just be sure to have it pushed in as far as it will go, or you will sone have problems with your passenger side door.
