65 GMC rear leaf Flip kit question....
I read alot of posts talking about 67-72 GMC's, but I'd like more info on doing a flip kit on my 65 GMC...
What vendors sell flip kits for the earlier trucks? And if I leave all the leafs(leaves) in, will I need to notch? I have about 4ft on 5"od 1/4 wall pipe, so maybe I can make homemade notches? I'm laid-off, so money is tight. I'd like to bring it down out of the clouds soon though. Thanks all

Re: 65 GMC rear leaf Flip kit question....
This is the one I used on my '72. I'm pretty sure 65's had 2-1/4 in. wide leafs like the 67-72. Maybe someone will correct me on this. As far as a notch goes, I needed one, but I also pulled some leaves. Just depends on how she sits now. Just picture your axle sitting on top of your leaf pack and add an inch. If you do order this, type in SHIPME in the checkout, you'll get free shipping! Sorry to hear about the layoff. Times suck all over.
