Door latches

Anybody know where I can get some new door latches at a reasonable cost? LMC wants almost $300 shipped. I checked eBay already - nobody even lists them. Chevy Duty wants $162 a piece before shipping.

Anybody seen them cheaper or am I stuck? Thats a lot of money for some stinking door latches!!!!

Re: Door latches

They are probably GM latches at that price. I have some for 79.95 apiece, but I have NOT used them so I don't have any feedback on them. Are they really bad as in the striker got into it?

Re: Door latches

they would be fine for a daily driver. They shut and then pop open about 1/8" of an inch. I need new ones, and that's the bottom line. I'm not going to spend a ton of money on paint and body work only to have the doors not shut correctly.

Chris could you send me a link to the ones you sell. I looked on your page but didn't' see them anywhere. I think the after market ones would be fine.

Chuck,
Here is the link for them:

Are you sure it is the latches and not the striker?

thanks for the link.

The strikers are fine, and I have new ones to put on. The guy doing the final body and paint work said I need new ones, He showed me the problem, and I concur with what he showed me and what he says.

just placed my order. thanks again.
