Steering box ?

Got a 1 ton crew cab and the steering is very sloppy and the box leaks. Need a new one but can't afford it right now, so gotta settle for a used one. My question is which ones will work(1/2 ton-3/4 2wd 4wd, etc.)it also has hydro boost brake system. Don't know if that would be an issue. All the parts books just break it down by year and 2wd or 4wd. Thanks guys!

Re: Steering box ?

You can get a rebuild kit from checkers for like $50, and new pitman shaft seals for $25. Check the rebuild kit to see if it come with the seals first, some do.
