how tight are the seat belt bolts supposed to be...

well, the bolts go in tight, but the belts are still loose on the bolt, as it's not threaded all the way. any time I've ever dealt with belts before they were always tight.

the original belts had been cut out of mine, and I got a set of stock ones (though green) to put in.....

The bolts have a smooth upper shank to allow pivoting.Just run them in tight as they go.

thanks all. I'll be putting the belts in, and seat/cover tomorrow. and it should be drivable enough to get it to the shop for a full fluid flush/lube.
