Well since the other thread is getting so long, I thought I would start another one.
I finally got everything put in the truck and took some photos. I painted it black so it would look sort of what it will look like when I get it covered. I put one pic here to keep so it won't take so long to load. Then I'll put some links to the rest of them. What do you think so far? ![]() Here's the rest of them. I even threw one of my gauges since I've installed my new steering wheel. Console 2 Console 3 Console 4 Console 5 Console 6 Console 7 Speaker box 1 Speaker box 2 Gauges

Mike, DAMN GOOD LOOKIN CONSOLE!!!!! I am sooo jealous,
![]() couple questions... 1. Did you redo your speaker enclosures? Didn't you have oval cutouts for the seats to clear? 2. Are you going to get a factory radio delete plate now or put in a piece of aluminum or something? Once again...NICE JOB!!!! ![]() ![]() -Jeff |

Looks good Mike, real good.
What are you going to put in the stock radio spot? MORE GAUGES!!! or switches for the airbags you need to install ![]() Hey I like the center you have for the wheel. I was planning on getting that same center for my carbin fiber wheel. It looks good! What amp do you have? EDIT: Mike what did you do about the frame for those seats? I thought it ran from corner to corner? Just curious. Are those boxes ported? Or are those some tweets?

I need a set like that on my truck. ![]()

Well let's see.
Jeff, yes I changed the speaker box because it didn't give me enough room for my seats like it was. I changed the part where the seats are, sloping it farther back at the top and wider at the bottom. One reason was so I would have enough room for the new 12's. Yes, I'm going to have to get some kind of plate to cover the radio hole. I'll figure out something. Eddie, no the box isn't ported, it's tweeters you see. I have two amps, both Pioneer's. The rear is a 4 channel I've had for a long time. I have it bridged to two channels @ 70 watts each. The front amp is a 2 channel @ 50 watts each. The console sits on the frame between the seats. This is what I have it fastened to. Worked out real good. Gave me a good place to fasten everything to. My shifter is mounted on the front edge of the seat frame. Then I had to make a spacer to raise the front part so it would be level. The top of the shifter, where the plastic console that come with the shifter, is supposed to fasten is right up under the console. I screwed the console to the mounting holes on the shifter. Worked out great. Really made it a lot stronger. I will get some measurements up for you Eddie. Everything would work for anyone, no matter what bucket seats you have except for the console bottom that sits on the frame. This would have to be different so it fits the floor. It is built in three sections, so I can have access to my amps, which are under it. I had to build the lower part in two sections in order to be able to get it in and out. There is probably a lot of things I've done everyone won't like for their truck. It works for me though. Thanks for all the compliments. ![]() Mike |

Billet pedals
Paul,
my pedals are Billet Specialities. I bought them from Summit. When I take everything out to have it covered, I'll get a lot of measurements and make some hand drawings. I'll email them to you Eddie and Ryan. I would love to see how it looks with CAD. |

Oh yeah. Where can I get a extension for my antenna cable? It won't reach my CD player now. Can you buy them at any audio shop?
Mike

yeah any good stereo shop should have them, something they may try to puls we dont sell extension only longers antennas and try to make you buy a whole antenna package, but you dont need that they should sell extensions from 6" to 3'.

![]() As far as the subs, what do you mean? The xplods are the new ones. ![]() Let's see, I have a 32" Sony TV, Sony CD player, Sony tape player, Sony Receiver, all in the house. Then my CD deck in the truck is Sony. Can you tell I like Sony products? ![]() Mike |

i like sony's home a/v stuff, but when it comes to car audio, i really dont like it all that much. i have a sony headunit and it hasnt given me any problems, but i really dont like it all that much anymore. and the ratings on their subs are overrated i've heard. but i like sony too, i have a sony reciever/speakers and a sony dvd player in my room and they are great. but from what i've heard, the sony car stuff isnt the best |

Kelly,
I am a carpenter, as I know you are also. I've checked out your work on your site, and I must say it is real fine work. Good finish carpenters are getting to be a real scarce. We have a ton of so called carpenters around here, but someone who can do work like you do is hard to find. I've only been a carpenter for 32 years. I guess I'll do. ![]() Thanks Brandon. Why didn't I think of Radio Shack?
