**Update**Jayman's "In Progress" Parts list to be draggin....

Well I gave myself a $2000 budget for the suspension. I think I can do a full slam for under that. Here is a list so far...This is not my final list...this is my start... (schick4life helped me alot) Please if you have any input...have a part you feel is better that whats listed...let me hear it...

My goal is to have my truck on the ground...I don't neccessarily need super fast bags as I am not going to be jumping it or dancing ...I just want a good ride...able to layin down...I love the look....here we go...

1) 2.5 Drop Spindles and Disk break conversion ( Either GMCPauls or ECE) $660-$899

2) 200psi Compressor by AZ $299 http://www.*****************/AirZenith200PSISilver.php

3) Front and Rear Bag Brackets- $100 http://www.*****************/67-87Ful...rtBrackets.php

4) Wishbone Kit (might not get this)-$289 http://www.*****************/UniversalWishboneKit.php

5) C-Notch $139 http://www.*****************/67-72Ful...yStepNotch.php

6) RearBags Contitech Tripple $169X2 http://www.*****************/Contitec...SinglePort.php

7) Front bags $79X2 http://www.*****************/AirbagsSlamSpecialties.php

8) Valves $5X4 http://www.*****************/FittingsMaleElbow.php

9) Tank Connector $4 http://www.*****************/FittingsMaleConnector.php

10) Airline

11) Switchbox $30-$120 http://www.*****************/AirManag...witchBoxes.php

12) Tank $80 http://www.*****************/AirManagementAirtanks.php

13) Gauge $20 http://www.*****************/AirManagementAirGauges.php

Also...here is a kit I might change and get instead of buying the above...

Re: Parts list to be draggin....

That should take care of the major stuff. Just remember, when doing something like this, a hundred other little things will pop up. I would definetly go with drop spindles, otherwise you'll have that real nasty negative camber thing going on, and I think that looks like crap. I'm not sure, but they should make drop spindles for drum's, but why not just change over to disc's? For a couple hundred bucks over just dropped spindles, you could have a whole disc conversion kit with drop spindles from ECE or CPP. You will have to buy cups or plates for the front airbags, too. If your truck has a trailing arm suspension, that will take care of the big stuff. Of course, like I said, other stuff will come up. Don't hesitate to call Suicide Doors. They know their stuff and will help you out.

Without drop spindles you'll get camber like mine This is with a 3" Z and a 1.25" c/member section. 9" wheel laid out the outside of the tire doesn't even touch the gound. I do plan on adding drop spindles sounds like you have a hold on the biggest parts. Don't forget shocks/brackets and two or three hundred for all of the stuff you didn't think you'd need

Re: Parts list to be draggin....

I am not much of a fan of the air zenith comps. I have heard some really bad stories about them... VIAIR all the way imo

Re: Parts list to be draggin....

I have never seen any threads like that about Viair. I can probably pull up some on air zenith if you want.

Re: Parts list to be draggin....

I know you are not trying to be mean...but I am new to air bags and air bag kits. I don't know the difference between either one...just stating what I was told...But that was one person...i have heard many say Viair was good...so...not sure where that leaves me..lol...

this is the thread where it was mentioned...maybe he just had a bad experience with them..
