Re: electric fan
There's a great recipe in the FAQ. Here's the link:
Shifty's electric fan set up I plan to follow that when I get 'round tuit. -Todd

Re: electric fan
the fan I got is the updated version of the fan that was recalled. Same part number as the original though. I got the relay too so I wouldn't have to have a switch in the cab.

Re: electric fan
I have a painless wiring harness. The sensor in the passengerside head. Works great. No hassel. I may put in an override switch for highway driving.

Re: electric fan
Well,
I bought two ten inches fans from ebay, two adjustable thermostat then had a tin shop create a custom frame and bracket. About $100 or so. Loco |

Re: electric fan
I run dual 14" fans and they suck! A 145 amp alternator too. The fans are just too small for my ZZ4 and A/C. I'm switching to a dual speed singe fan. Options include: Viper, Mark VIII, Taurus, or Jeep fans. An adjustable control with speed adjustments is ideal. The controler applies power per temperature readings. 50% power at low temps or near operating temps, full speed at high temps or preset.
http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...cfan/index.php I think mine would work if they had a shroud. Last edited by gchemist; 06-17-2008 at 10:02 PM. |
