The 83 factory manual is two books. Each about 4" thick!! I have a set.
What ya need? I have scanned pages for the NP205 and NP208 transfer cases. Last edited by gchemist; 06-10-2008 at 08:17 PM. |

Re: dealer book
where did you get them ?
i would preffer my own cause well a few of us here have chevys and haynes just dosent cut it. . . ok heres the issue is there mreo then one location for the oil pressure sensor? i have one by my oil filter i jsut replaced, but when disconnected the oil oressure still reads correctly. i origionally replaced it cause i smashed it putting on headers (stupid me) but yeah.. is ther more then one? and i have tons of random quirks and questions... jsut tired of filling up the forms with my stuff when it's easy to open a book and i stop looking like a tool =-)

Re: dealer book
Ebay. Paid $35. You have check often. Sets are found every now and then.
You can pay over $100 for a new aftermarket set. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1983-...m310056593986& Engines have two oil pressure sensors. One is located next to the distributor. Second is near the filter. Filter sensor is used by the choke. Last edited by gchemist; 06-10-2008 at 10:44 PM. |

Re: dealer book
so do i need both sensors attached to get a proper reading? or just one?
it sgot me a bit confused ehre because the oilpressure reading seems accurate... with one detached.. hmmmm
