Anyone using the SANDERSON shorty headers??

Ok, I FINALLY towed the truck to my buddies shop and we were looking the truck over to see what all we needed to order up...

as we looked at the headers and the placement of the starter Im starting to think the SANDERSON SHORTY HEADERS arent going to work??? I dont think there's going to be enough room to run the pipes....

???

Here's a picture of the ones I have, not sure exactly which ones they are because they were on the truck when I got it....but some of you will recognize them Im sure..

my question is, is anyone running these and do they work? does the starter get in the way of running the pipes out the back???

Ok I'll add a few more pics......I'll probably start a PROJECT/BUILD page once I get all my parts and get it going......

Here's my girl leaving the house,

Here she is on the highway,

Here she is in front of my buddies shop (Third Street Auto Repair in Napa, CA),

I'm using Sanderson headers but not like yours. The ones I'm using are the firewall dump model. I started with a set like yours and the exhaust place I use said they could not make them work.

Here's a pic, top is what I'm running now, bottom is the first headers I tried.

Don't mean to hijack, but are those Sandersons made for our trucks or is the part number for another Chevy, like Camero/Chevelle, etc.?

Re: Anyone using the SANDERSON shorty headers??

Early Classic has them made for our trucks. I used them in my Burb with no problem.

Re: Anyone using the SANDERSON shorty headers??

The headers I'm using are just like the CC-10 model but I custom ordered for the GM Fast-Burn heads I'm using.

I'd go the ECE way, but that's just me.

Here's their link...

Re: Anyone using the SANDERSON shorty headers??

I purchased the jet coated Sanderson CC10s from them when they were at the Goodguys show in Pleasanton they only cost me $325 shipped to my address.

I'm not sure how they will work with my OEM Auto Trans Linkage. I've heard the will and they will not. I hope they do because I like it.

Maybe Sanderson will let you swap them out for the CC10s?????????

Re: Anyone using the SANDERSON shorty headers??

I have the firewall dump Sanderson's on my truck. Love how the fit. Still have to run pipes to my x pipe though. Got mine from ECE.
