Skid Plate?
Are the 73 up gas tank skid plates worth taking off? I asked on the 73 up board,but no response.

I think you may have your answer. 26 people have looked at this post here and you said you got no response in the 73+ section, I think there isn't much demand. If it's free, ya might try selling it for a couple buck, but it would probably have to be a local sale as I'm sure shipping would be expensive.
