brake line q's

I have the front suspention bolted in place now,and was running the brake lines and ran into a few snags... hope you guys can shed some light (only becouse it is easier to ask than to research)
And yes, for the record, I did actually try the search first...
What size brake lines go from the cross member junction block to the rubber brake lines going to the caliper. Is it 3/16ths? I have to bend some up.
Also, tthose rubber lines, are they still avalible from the chain stores? auto zone/advance auto type stores? I hope to get some today, or at least get them ordered. I know I got some from advance 5 years ago or so, but I thought I heard on here sopmewhere that they were no longer avalible?

yeah they are 3/16ths, and the rubber lines are available through napa....thats where i got mine....just a few months ago.let me know if you need a part number and i will go out and find the box....i think they ran be about 17 bucks a side........

I'm re-doing brake lines and replacing hoses also. I have done a drum to disk conversion in the front so I'll be replacing hard line. As bad6772 stated, the front hard line is 3/16". Back for FYI is 1/4". As for the rubber brake hose, I have found a company in California that specializes in Steel Braided Brake Lines. I shipped my lines to them yesterday and am waiting for them to come back (about a week or so). They estimated about $12.00 per line. I'll Pass along info, final price and pics when I get them back

Edit: The only reason I sent my hoses, is because I could not determine the thread size or count of the fittings. When I get everything back, I'll pass that info along also.

I will be watching since I have changed my whole cross over from a 87 to mine.

That will work. I just got some disc brake conversions brake lines from a place called FINELINES out of Ohio. Will probably install them today but I always need a backup plan incase this does not work.
