sold my 62 today
I didn`t want to but I need the money and where it`s stored at, I just don`t have time to go work on it. I got a fair price for it though. Thanks to everyone who answered my questions regarding the truck. I`m pretty new to the 60-66 style and I plan on getting another as soon as I can afford it.

Re: sold my 62 today
$650. I had it listed for $800 but didn`t get any bites. As soon as I lowered it I got a bunch of interest. I lost a bunch of money but I needed the cash. There is a 60 or 61 short stepside around the corner by my work thats just sitting there. I think I can get it pretty cheap. I need to wait till after our trip in September though.

Re: sold my 62 today
Sorry to hear that you had to let go of your truck but it sounds like you've got one spotted to replace it.

Re: sold my 62 today
Yeah it`ll be a little while but it`s just sitting there in the driveway collecting dust and cob webs. It`s just begging to be saved.

Re: sold my 62 today
At least you realized something had to be done with it. My aunt has a 1967 all original Camaro that runs and drives. But she just lets it sit in her back yard while it rots away. I've begged her to sell it to me just so I didn't have to see it rot away like that anymore and she refuses saying it her baby and she'll never sell it.

Re: sold my 62 today
I think so too but I know what you mean. I was talking about the "rep[lacement" I found but I guess the same could be said for my 62. It was in the garage at my mothers house but it was collecting dust and cob webs as well. I had big plans for it but it needed more work than I ca put into it at this time. I see them out there so I don`t think I`ll have a problem finding a replacment.

Re: sold my 62 today
Well, good luck on getting that replacment. I've been workin on my truck for about four yrs now. Times were pretty tough for me a few months back and it got to the point where I almost sold my truck. At that time I started to notice more and more of these truck sitting around.

Re: sold my 62 today
I guess you did what you had to do, but it sounds like you got the 6066 bug. Good luck on your next one. Chris
